Nambour Hockey, affectionately known as Blue Demons. From humble beginnings in 1977, the club has developed into a major force within Sunshine Coast hockey both in terms of playing strength and sporting achievement. Blue Demons proudly boast impressive clubhouse facilities, two grass playing fields and excellent floodlighting of the main field for night training.

All ages and divisions catered for New members, families and supporters most welcome. Male and female players required in all age and skill divisions. Enquire and register now.

The Club

A small group of men assembled in Nambour on 11th May 1977 to discuss the prospects of getting the sport up and running in town. With news that girls from the Nambour High School were also interested in playing in a weekend competition, the new club was ready to form.

The origin of the name "Blue Demons" is derived from the school’s colours and the "demons" is thought to have originated from the smattering of players from different places.
