The Club

A small group of men assembled in Nambour on 11th May 1977 to discuss the prospects of getting the sport up and running in town. With news that girls from the Nambour High School were also interested in playing in a weekend competition, the new club was ready to form.

The origin of the name "Blue Demons" is derived from the school’s colours and the "demons" is thought to have originated from the smattering of players from different places.
